We believe that fashion, as any other creation, cannot be separated from the heart.
Our designs were always a reflection of what we find most inspiring and magnificent – the world of nature. The colors, shapes, and feeling of ajna designs always had the smell and touch of the forest, the trees and the nature spirits.
Following that path, moving towards Organic clothing was the natural next step for us : to provide cloths that are not only inspired by the beauty and shapes of nature, but also from the harmony and natural cycle that connects everything to everyone in nature.
Therefore we're now proud to present clothes that bring to you not only natural beauty and simplicity but also guarantees not to harm and poison the earth it is coming from, nor the person who wears it.
Clothes that WE know their roots, from seeds to dye, so You can be sure that what covers your skin does not just look good to the eye, but also feels good to the heart.
What is organic clothing?
Just like organic food, at first believed to be impossible and unprofitable for mass marketing and today considered to be one of the most developing markets in the food industry, organic clothing is already available today in a growing variety of lines, colors and styles, and just like organic food - it is here to stay.
Organic clothing is made of organic cotton which is grown without the usage of toxic chemicals. Unlike food production which is still highly regulated, in a conventional growth of cotton, a very high concentration of chemicals is often in abundance contaminating soil, water, and affecting the vegetation and wild life of vast areas for many years.
Organic cotton is free of those chemicals, both from direct fertilization or from contaminated soil. Pests are being controlled using different techniques of biological disinfestations.
Moreover, dyeing materials in conventional clothing normally include hundreds of toxic materials of which the skin is directly exposed to for long days. Our dyeing materials are ecological, using a minimal amount of unnatural materials.
Global Organic Textile Standard (G.O.T.S)
All of the organic lines of ajna designs are being strictly monitored by the Global Organic Textile Standard (G.O.T.S) organization, which is currently the leading standard for organic clothing.
G.O.T.S overseas the implementation of organic standards for textiles through the production, processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, exportation, importation and distribution of all are products, certifying the organic standard of our clothes.
